Museums
While we have worked at several museums, including The Virginia Museum of Fine Arts 1936 Entry and Pamplin Park Civil War Interpretative Center, our most recent museum job is the Richmond Children's Museum,
right.
This was a fun job from start to finish. The project is a good example
of "adaptive re-use" of an old industrial building given new
life as a popular attraction for all. We worked with a designer to use
a number of unusual finishes that, given the site's industrial history,
would lend a cheerful look and stand up to the museum's customers -- small
but notoriously tough on their surroundings!
